This was my final project for an Advanced Typography class, where I was tasked with redesigning the cover of a banned book of my choice. I selected Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The challenge lay in creating a compelling, type-focused design with minimal illustration. I chose to evoke the atmosphere of telling ghost stories around a campfire—a setting the book invites readers to imagine. This concept guided my typographic choices and overall design approach.
